The Alabama School of Healthcare Sciences (ASHS) is hosting a series of statewide informational meetings to introduce families to Alabama’s newest specialty public high school — a residential school dedicated exclusively to healthcare sciences.

At each event, members of the school’s leadership team will share how this groundbreaking school combines rigorous academics with real-world healthcare training, preparing students to graduate ready to join the healthcare workforce with valuable certifications, skills, and experience.

Families will also get a first look at what student life will be like at ASHS — from living and learning alongside peers who share a passion for healthcare, to growing in a community built on compassion, innovation, integrity, and service.

Whether your student dreams of becoming a nurse, biomedical researcher, lab technician, or public health leader, this is where the journey begins.

Parents, 8th graders, and community members are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and see how Alabama’s newest public residential high school is opening doors to a healthier, brighter future.
